15th Annual Sunset Hospice Cottage Fundraiser is Sat Nov 13th

By Sunset Board of Directors

2020 was the year none of us will forget.  As life returns to normal, we all have a deeper appreciation for the small gifts we have in this world such as good friends, a good community, and time to appreciate them face-to-face.

Like most public events last year, our annual fundraiser was rescheduled and then ultimately canceled which is why we are so excited to have a firm date and a positive outlook to come together on Saturday, November 13 at the Worthington Event Center.

The Worthington and surrounding community are generous to the Cottage all year long, but our annual fundraising event has the largest impact to our annual budget. We appreciate everyone who has joined us in the past and hope that you are able to join us again this year.

Auction Items: As before we will have grand prizes, a live auction, and a silent auction.  Raffle tickets are available for a chance to win a walnut dining table handcrafted by Lauren Postma and Shawn Elsing and a Coach purse donated by Pam & Scott Hain.

Plenty of Food: Social hour starts at 5:00 PM and dinner is served at 6:30 PM.  Dinner is catered by Hickory Lodge with pork donated by JBS.

Still Room to Join: Tickets are moving more quickly than we expected but there is still availability. We have both individual tickets and 5 remaining tables:

Individual Tickets – $50

Table Sponsor (Table of 8) – $400

Table Sponsor (Table of 10) – $500

Event Sponsor (Table of 8) – $1,000

Event Sponsor (Table of 10) – $1,250

Contact: Susanne Murphy (507-360-6699) or Deb Scheidt (507-360-6657) to sponsor a table or to purchase individual tickets or raffle tickets.  If you cannot attend, but would still like to donate, you may do so by check, cash or credit card.  There are more details available on our website.

We are looking forward to seeing your friendly face, in person, soon!

Both my mother and father passed away at Sunset Hospice Cottage and the facility was a blessing to them and our family. It allowed us to be together through the good times and the hard ones. And enabled us to spend as much time with mom as she wanted without burdening her. Sunset Hospice Cottage provided the professional care, comfortable surroundings and spiritual support that we knew she wanted.
